starting problems

I also am having problems when starting in the cold weather. It is the 3.4 and it will crank over in the cold but not start, as soon as I push the gas just a bit it will start right up if it is plugged in at night. If not plugged in it will take like 5-6 tries for it to start, may it be a temperature sensor that would activate a choke. All ready replaced the fuel filter.
