Civic SI Lambo (First Drawing)

Hey everyone, ive been checkin out the site alot latly cause I am going to UTI in Houston for collision repair and I figured art work would help me with the airbrushing section of the class.

Well this is the first drawin I have really put time into. I probably should have started out with something easier, but I liked it overall, I know the front end is tweeked a bit but idk.
Any suggestions comments or anything would be great.
Thanks
Jon

Re: Civic SI Lambo (First Drawing)

hey stolensol, your drawing looks good. It seems that your perspective is pretty accurate, the doors especially look good. Just a few suggestions if you don't mind:

try to be more confident on your lines -- use curved rulers like "sweeps" it helps alot, after a while you won't even need them anymore.

try not to mix your colors with the greys -- just use a darker or lighter version of the same color:
(e.g. for yellow: white>light yellow>yellow>orange yellow>dark)

Hope this helps, good luck.

Re: Civic SI Lambo (First Drawing)

please use something else to draw on, this paper ruins your drawing. which is a good drawing btw, but your lines look a bit sketchy: use a 2h pencil do do the lines and when you're finished, use an hb to trace the lines. oh, and some wheels wouldn't hurt either
