98 Sable Trany Probs?

When I pull up to stop or put foot on brake the car SHUDDERS and stalls. Shop says it is Torque. Should I have trany replaced ar have torque fixed?

Hi, For some reason it sounds like the torque converter clutch is staying engaged, You need to get it checked out withe the proper trans tester to be sure, It may be solonoid that controlls it...See Ya, Clay..
