How do you get CD changer out?

Anyone know how to take apart enough of the console to get the CD changer out?

just pull it off, its only held on by a few clips. then you should see the screws holding the cd player in.

Re: How do you get CD changer out?

Remove your shift knob by using (I believe) a 1/8" allen wrench in the back of the knob. Then gently but firmly lift the top of the console area around the shift area - you can see where the plastic parts are separated. Pull the console area up being careful as it includes the ashtray area which has two clips that insert in the area just below and to the outside of the cd player. Don't break them, but they are not too fragile where you have to be afraid.
