ok i have an 1992 olds 88 royale, and i've been getting a code 41... i replaced the sensor, and i tried to check the wires back to the brain box. still no luck help me... please

What size engine do you have? The code has a different meaning for different size engines.

oh.... 3.8L 3800 engine... one more thing... the engine runs like it always has. The way the engine runs is exactly the same as before the code came on in the first place.

You may have lost the magnet off the timing gear on the cam, you will have to look thru the sensor opening with a mirror while a helper turns the engine over, spark disabled, till you can confirm it's presence.
