97 Chevy Lumina Oil Change Light

How do you reset the light for the oil change light?

turn the ignition to "ON" (meaning car not running, but radio works etc..)
push the gas pedal down 3 full times, on the fourth time, hold it all the way down. the oil change light will flash - then go out. that resets it.

I too have a '97 and thats how i re-set mine
