Pressure Hose/Leaking Oil

Hi,

I need help in determining what this part is so that I can replace it. On the bottom of my engine block, where some wires go into the engine there is oil leaking out. Is that the engine oil temp sensor? I don't have too much knowledge about cars so I also need help in determining if I also need to replace a hose. One of the pressure hose from the tranny going to the radiator is leaking ever so lightly. Can that be fixable or do I have to replace the whole thing.

The car is a 2002 grandprix gtp.

Thanks.

Re: Pressure Hose/Leaking Oil

What part of the engine block? Driver's side, passenger side, firewall side or radiator side.

There is no oil temperature sensor. There is a oil pressure sending unit located by the oil filter where it mounts up to the engine and on the side of the oil pan is an oil level sensor.

On the hose have you tried tightening the fitting at the radiator? Clockwise tightens. If loose tranny fluid will drip down the hose.
