Unhappy So, I'm told my car has some problems

Namely the distributer cap, plug wires, and rotor. Supposedly that's what's wrong with it. It still runs well, but it misses when idling. And I don't want to let this go much longer, since that seems like something that could mess up my beautiful engine. How much should something like that cost for a 95 police caprice? I have gotten widely varying estimates; the lowest of which sounded like it was probably not going to be a high enough quality of part, and the highest of which sounded like he was trying to take me for what little the military gives me.
