Exclamation Help!

My idle went from 800-2000 in neutral, and up to 1000 or so in drive. The headers glow after a short while. It still has all normal power as I drive, its just the idle. When I took off the mass air sensor, it idled at the right speed, just horrably, but it had correct ammout of power.

We checked all sorts of wires and timing and plugs etc, all fine, its down to the comp and mass air as it looks, any sugestions?, Any ideas?

PLEASE HELP

Many things can affect idle rpm, such as A/C, or maybe even certain add-on electronics... try turning off a/c, like the fans... and see if it helps..
