clear taillights vs euro/alteza
im still working on my civic HB , but i came across another fork in the road, im getting silver tint in a week and im wanting to do something with the oem taillights, ive seen peeps putting vynl over them, but i think thats kinda ghetto personally, so im thinking of clears with colored bulbs or the ever so popular altezza lights, so i have a few ?s on both and i know you peeps have the anwsers i seek, so first off are the clear tails with the colored blulbs street legal? second on the http://www.tornactive.com/productdet...sc=true&order=
see how there is the clearish middle piece, i think id rather keep the oem black peice with the civic text, if i got these would leaving this part oem be possbile or is it all or nothing? or am i just over doing it all together? here is my car with a fake tint job hehe thanks also where is a good place to get the taillights?? they are kinda hard to find...

What's up.
Yes, you can leave out the center piece (and a good choice, it looks lame!). I don't think the clear lenses with colored bulbs is legal. Just a guess, but I think they have to reflect red. But if you find some that say DOT and SAE approved, you're good to go. In my opinion, I would go with the black-housing altezzas... I think the chrome housing ones only look good on silver or white cars. However, I just found some that have a "midnight chrome look" housing, those might be OK. Check out www.autodynamic.com under the euro/clear lamp section. They're about $230. Also, check out e-bay.

well i dunno about the black ones... i guess i'll just leave the taillamps the same, so what year did you say the projectors that will fit my car?
and where can i get some i have a 90 civic hb i found 88-89 CRX projectors will they work?

well good then cause i'll be the first mofo in the neighborhood with it hehe actually i have seen a few cars like a teg etc with it and well these cars certainly were not ghetto heh im actually stuck between black and silver, and i figured every one has black tint... oh and damn i didnt know lexus went ghetto hehe

Silver tint is good shit. It reflects the heat and provides greater protection and UV blockage than traditional black tint.

Why would any1 want clear tail lights? I think that is just disgustingly ugly!!! Just my opinion though!!! :monkeypis
