Red face Thinking About A VW

Ok so i really like the way the 04 passats look and i like the 04 jettas....i wouldn't mind having one but i have heard that VW's have serious problems....please help me out....

I don't know of any specific problems with the jettas. I did here rumors of electrical issues. my wife had a 03' beetle with the 2.0 and we loved it. not exactly masculine but it was hers. Very nice car and we had no problems at all. Sold it at 50,000mi. for something bigger would have bought vw again but couldn't afford the toureg. Just my 2 cents.
