Re: transmisson problems
Make sure that you get a copy of the times you took it into them, dates and mileage, that way it establishes a problem within the warranty time just in case it goes out after warranty. The service dept tells you that because if they can't find anything wrong, warranty doesn't cover the labor. I would suggest finding another dealer. The next time you take it in, tell them that it is under warranty and it is acting abnormal and that since they are the specialists, it is thier responsability to find the problem without charging you if they can't find it. It is not your responsability to pay them if they are incompetent and cannot find the problem. It is obvious that there is a problem, they are required to find the problem, and that is covered under warranty. Don't let them buffalo you. They have to do it under warranty, and if you really want to feel better about it, contact Daimler chrysler yourself and tell them everything, and who the dealer is. They will most likely contact the dealer, and the dealer will jump right on it. They are scared to death of pissing off corporate because they hold the dealers future. Good luck and don't give up, keep pushing untill you get it fixed, it will only get worse if you don't
