a few quick ?'s

i was just wondering if you get a bigger tb does that make a big difference on our cars? right now i have a 99 gs and im in the middle of putting together a turbo kit and was just looking for a few more ways for some xtra hp.. another quick ? i know this has been discussed before but i can't find it.. will a evo8 turbo work on my car b/c i know someone selling one for pretty cheap.. thanks for the info!

The TB will help*. The evo8 turbo won't work, since it's opposite (turns the other way). Star and Hahn make the most popular turbo nt kits. We have a sticky here on it from Jake. For more info wait for more responses from nt guys who know more than me or hit up www.2gnt.com.

what size TB do you suggest getting for the most gain that won't be overkill? and any idea how much hp it will add? i didn't think the evo8 would work but just thought i would make sure before i bought it.. thanks!

60mm was what they were using in my link. Larger wouldn't necessarily be better unless the TB was the limiting factor in the air's path. I think.

I really have to wait for the 2g guys like DavidB to chime in.

An evo turbo WILL work. All n/t turbo kits are reversed form the turbo dsms. Think about it, the 420a sits the same and an evo 4g63

so the evo8 will work? that would be great b/c i can pick one up pretty cheap and it doesn't have many miles on it! ill pick it up anyways and if it won't work ill just sell it on ebay and get something that will..hopefully a few more weeks and ill have everything i need to be boosting finally.. when im putting on everything ill take some pics and maybe do a write up on it step by step since jake decided to delete his thread
