Help Wid This Dumb Noise Prob!!!!!!

Hey guys! OK heres the deal. Well i just got a new transmission and installed and only drove it to work and back and then this wierd sound just started. Like a loud GRINDin sound. The car can't even move anymore? It would go in gears but the sound would get louder. so basically u can't DRIvE THE CAR then i guess. lolz. But yea! So when i start up my car, i have to step and hold on to the clutch pedal to make the grindin sound stop. If i let go then somethin grinds? Is it my Tranny? or is it somethin else? N E 1 knos HOLLATCHABOY! (note: b18a swap)

Re: Help Wid This Dumb Noise Prob!!!!!!

My transmission makes a little bit of noise all the time, but I'm sure its normal, just barely audible if you put your ear like right on it, its the internals always spinning...I would say your a little under lubricated..Or youve got a messed up bearing, thats just scraping itself round and round...

Thats what I meant when I said bearing...But mines not grinding, just sounds like bearings turning....just sound.

is that right? so you think that when the clutch pressed the floor to make the noise stop that its the throw out bearing? Isn't that when the bearing is spinning, Dustin? So technically if it was the throwout bearing the noise should stop with the clutch pedal up and make the noise with the pedal pressed. Unless its a fulltime throwout bearing, which cable honda trannys arent.
