Need help! 2001 Silverado 4.8 Emissions system

Hello all, first time on the forums.

I have a 2001 Silverado Ext.cab, 4.8/auto and need some help with the emissions system. This is my first newer truck (Ive been in the stoneage) and had to get it due to recent family arrivals.

When I bought this truck the owner stated that it had a "California emission's system" on it and that something could be removed to bypass it adn gain full power. I just shrugged it off and never even looked at what he was telling me about. This truck is in pristine condition (51,000 miles) and about a week after I bought it the "service engine soon" light came on. The gas mileage went down a bit and it developed a small surge @ 40-50MPH.

I had a scanner hoked up to it and it returned the following:

P0410---Secondary air injection system malfunction.

I went and bought a Haynes manual and discovered that the hose coming out of the "Air shutoff valve" is missing. When I crank my truck for the first time (when it's cold) I can hear a loud hissing and it is coming from the Air shutoff valve. I just need to know where this hose goes and what all I need to get it put back on. Nothing else seems to be missing from the air pump area other than this hose. I included some pics so everyone can get a visual on what I am rambling on about.

Thanks in advance!
