So my cousin has a 95(?) neon and is putting in a used aftermarket deck. he wants to be able to play his laptop through his car speakers but the deck doesnt have rca inputs.
is there a way to do this?if the speakers have mini amps(like my 240 does) i was thinking i could put in a switch into the remote power wire to bypass the deck to still get power to the speakers but not have to use the deck. i would then splice a headphone type jack into all six(two subs) speaker wires(three to the left wire and three to the right wire) would this work???? ![]() i know it would probably be easiest to just by a new deck with auxilory ins but he got the deck for free and doesnt really want to go spend 100+ on a new deck. any input would be appreciated. Re: Audio question....
There is no '93 neon, they started production in '95. Anyway, what you are proposing, in theory, sounds like it should work. But honestly, I'd rather get a new deck and do it right instead of all the cutting and splicing.
