Re: first attempt at a respray

how come you didn't pop off the windows and headlights when you painted? the paint has a nice even spray. looks dull but that's porbably cuz you havn't sprayed the clear yet. doesn't look metallicy to me though. but it's nice.

I didnt pop out the windows and headlights because i couldnt figure out how without breaking them. They are secured by plastic rivit.
the paint looks dull because its only the second coat and because there is no clear on it yet. Also, the pics I took dont show the metalic very well, but it definatly is. I'll try to show that in the pics when its done.

Re: first attempt at a respray

I dont believe it does. Im not sure though, and im not at home. I was never able to figure out how the rims come off (thats why they are all masked off), so I haven't gotten a good look at the suspension.

Re: first attempt at a respray

i love it already the color is hot ... but that "GTR" decal looks bad ... it makes the car look extremly ricey .. but other wise the paint looks awesome!

keep up the good work!

Re: first attempt at a respray

Very nice, as mentioned before, I'd pop out the lights, and windows, not too hard to do, and the wheels, they just pop off with force, as for the suspension, non-existant lol, I have the same car, just not ricey, and I had to do a custom drop. Great Door holder lol, I do the same thing, I build a Rotiseree lol, makes for good paint jobs. Keep it up.
