anywhere you can lose weight anything you don't really need and can just pull out, just make sure you aren't going to miss it

spare, backseat, jack, hood (carbonfiber) trunk carbon fiber, spoiler (remove), Wheels (lightweight forged wheels), front seats w/ racing seats, trunk lining, carpeting, dash, speakers, air conditioning, door panels, lighter flywheel, lighter clutch, take out your air-bags, replace windows with light plastic substitutes, and a slim fast diet for yourself, believe it or not your are a part of your car when you are in it, and being 120lbs will help you out more than being 300lbs, you could try cutting out holes in the metal, but i wouldn't suggest it, keep 1/4 tank in for drag racing, and i wouldn't suggest anything but a full tank for track/road races

underdrive pulleys tend to throw codes after a while and don't offer any really good gains

now feasibly, if you were going to make it a track car only, many of these things would be entirely feasible to take out. but, you will most likely miss many of these things and for your safety, i wouldn't recommend doing all of them...

you just need to think outside the box

for every 100lbs you lose off the body of the car, you can realistically expect a .1 sec. quarter mile time increase

for every lb you lose off the unsprung weight of the car, it is supposed to be worth 4x that on the body, so losing 1lb off every wheel you feasibly lose 16lbs altogether in body weight

Re: wait reduction

dont forget fenders, sound insulation. but for any use other than drag, keep the stock trunk till later just remove as much from the front sice the car is so front heavy.
