Servicing A/C
My 95 Cutlass Supreme's A/C isn't working and I was wondering if I could service it myself. I am currently unemployed so I need to save as much money as possible (and need to be sweat-free when I go on interviews). Are the DIY kits sold in parts stores easy to use? Since the compressor isn't even kicking in any more I assume it has a low pressure switch, where is the switch and how do I go about resetting it?
Thanks |

Re: Servicing A/C
You can recharge it yourself by using one of the DIY kits available buy you should find if you have a leak first. If there is a large leak then you will be wasting your money and time. The compressor is not kicking on due to low pressure as you stated so a recharge may correct the problem for you. I would get one of the kits that has a guage.
