Del Sol = Del Slow. The earlier Sol's were weak and I think had d16's in 'em. Although the later years they got B16's I believe. So go for a later year Sol and with enough work it'll be fast, but as I recall they don't handle all that great.

All it basically is, is a 2-seater Civic, with a little more power......... don't know if that means that you could throw all the Civic aftermarket parts in....? Don't see why not?

Ive seen some pretty fast ones, never seen a body-moded one though. As long as you get rid of the gay lettering, it looks pretty cool in my opinion. I wouldnt mind having one, if the mods fit.

Go check out www.teamdelsol.com They have a list of body kits for them and wings. As far as engine goes they have a lot of parts that will fit del sols and civics. Only a few manufacturers make exhausts for them but they are good name brands. I'm not trying to steal AF's customers, but the del sol board here is dead. Go over to Hondavision.com They are partnered with Team Sol so all the members are over there. You can learn a lot by reading their previous posts. I'm hoping to get a sol soon so I've been researching them over there and I've learned a lot. For engine swaps, its pretty much like a civic....b series, some have done H22 (prelude).

Hope this helps.
