Question POLL: Side & Rear gen 1, gen 2, Aftermarket

I realize its strictly opinion, but just wanted to see where everyone stands...Im thinking of putting the bomber kit on the side and rear and leaving the front stock gen 1.

Re: POLL: Side & Rear gen 1, gen 2, Aftermarket

Other, If the front isnt changing then leave the sides and back alone.\

If the front is changing then change the rest to go with it.

Combos I like are
1st gen stealth with 99 3kgt front, possibly with 2nd Gen 3kgt rear bumper and lights.
2nd Gen 3000GT with 97-98 or 99 front

Re: POLL: Side & Rear gen 1, gen 2, Aftermarket

I've always thought that the first gen looked really good with the 99' rear garnish and 99' wing. The spoiler has the definitive lines that the first gen's always did.

Re: POLL: Side & Rear gen 1, gen 2, Aftermarket

I myself just like the way the 1st gen 3kgt's in the rear and on the sides. In the front I'd do a 99' conversion, but If you're gonna' put a bomex bumper on there, it might look kinda wierd w/o getting the rest of the body kit.

Re: POLL: Side & Rear gen 1, gen 2, Aftermarket

My current set up is 99 front, first gen 3k sides, first gen 3k rear. Its a nice mix and match. I am going to switch off to 99 front. first gen Stealth sides, second gen 3k rear. There are so many combos you can go with and still have it look good.

Re: POLL: Side & Rear gen 1, gen 2, Aftermarket

...i think maybe some of you misunderstood. Im gonna keep my stock gen 1 front...i like the active aero and dont wanna do all the work for a 99 conversion. I was just wondering what you guys think i should do with the sides and back. I really like the bomex sides...and all rears of all kits are pretty sick.
