Turning Over 30 Times Before Starting
When it rains it pours...
Following my dash-light problem, a bonus popped up. As of recent, when my car is cold, it will crank 20-30 times, hesitate, then start. But when it finally starts it idles just fine at 1000 RPM (AAC believed to be bad, tried adjusting). When the car is warm it starts right away with little to no hesitation. This is a sudden problem. Any ideas? -Justin

whens the last time you did a tune up on the car. aka sparks, plugs, rotor, cap?

I didn't think it'd be the rotor/cap, but now that I think about it they are pretty fn old. Haha. Do you think that would cause that problem?

Good ol' KA24DE. It just surprised me - I've had the car for over a year without any problems, and this wasn't gradual but instead sudden.

if it were the rotor/cap then the car would idle funny too wouldnt it?
might be fuel prob or something. check the spark plugs for fouling, dampness, etc.
