idling at a higher rpm help
My Car used to idle typically at less than 1000rpm, now it goes about 1.5, i heard a noise before it sounded like a whistle on a tea kettle when the tea is warm...
how do i detect air leaks, i think a whose may be slightly ruptured, but im not sure... what is idling higher than usual a symptom of ? any input?

Re: idling at a higher rpm help
run a boost leak test. It will find the leak. If no leak shows up, it's probably a faulty ISC motor. If the idle goes up and down from around 1000-1500, and the AC isn't on, then it's usually the ISC motor. My ISC isn't working, it doesn't really bother me, you can always just unplug the TPS and set your idle with the BISS screw, as long as you don't mind the CEL.
