Chrysler 300C Hemi

Chrysler cars used the "300" designation starting in 1955. The second "300" was released in 1956, and the badge on that car was 300B. In 1957, the next 300 car was released and named 300C. In the year 2000, Chrysler started to build the 300M again in their Brampton, Ontario, Canada plant. Some say the 300M's were not true 300's as they did not have 300 horsepower, and they were front-wheel drives.

With the merger of Daimler and Chrysler, the DaimlerChrysler designers were able to use the successful Mercedes E-class platform as the basis for the new 2005 300C. The optional HEMI V-8 engine pumps out 340 horsepower - enough to get from zero to sixty in 5.3 seconds! Yet, the engine also has a value-added fuel-saving feature; It shuts off 4 of its cylinders while cruising, leaving just enough power for an enjoyable, quiet ride.

From Motor Max's American Graffiti line

Has nothing to do with teh movie. I don't even like they put the decal on the car.

I swore I was expecting better from Motor Max. I'm just a little dissapointed. I mean some details are a little better than the Maisto (headlights, taillights, wheels&tires) but overall teh fit and finish seemed like a rush job.

The history was included in the box. I might have to start doing that more often...

I'm not too worried about that. I've done it before. Did a whole car like that...

Re: Chrysler 300C Hemi

...so this is a bit off topic, but has anyone else ever wondered why the new 300 wasn't called the 300N?? ...in keeping with their letter designation for whenever the 300 was redesigned, that should've been next... i've wondered that ever since the new 300 came out...

on topic though, that's probably the best looking Motormax car that i've seen...

I was thinking the exact same thing. I wish I knew. But I must say they are sweet looking!

I'm really itching to do the interior black or a two tone. Right now it currently does not seem to fit the car right. I haven't done a mod in a year now, but this is really asking for it...

Re: Chrysler 300C Hemi

lol scarface was telling hobbes (the starter of the how to: remove decals thread) how to take the decals off. anyways what you can do is take the interior off the maisto and put it in the motormax = a $40 okay quality 300c.

As you can tell from the last photo the wheels are different in both. It seems like the MM's wheels are the size for the SRT-8. SRT-8... *Drools* But anyways, the Maisto appears to be in scale with the 300C...
