Cops: 2.5 - Me: 5.5

well i'm winning this little battle but it sure is annoying!

STATS:
[ME +1] State Police just outside Berlin, CT on june 30 2002 @ 1:30am on Rte. 5: 130+mph racing friends integra and suddenly noticing a state trooper ahead - nothing. slammed on my breaks (ouch it felt really bad) the trooper pulled over and got behind me but i wouldn't budge over 55mph. so i just changed lanes and let him pass.

[COPS +1] Newington Police in Newington, CT on june 29 2002 @ 11:30pm on Rte. 5: Failure to give proper signal - ticket ($78)

[ME +1] Seymour Police in Seymour, CT on june 29 2002 @ 2:10am on Rte 67: 49mph in a 30mph zone - verbal warning

[ME +.5 COPS +.5] Orange Police in Orange, CT on june 28 2002 @ 1:55am on Rte. 1: 56mph in a 40mph zone - verbal warning and inspection ticket for exhaust, headlights, signals, and tires

[COPS +1] State Trooper in Roxbury, CT on june 18 2002 @ 4:00pm on Rte. 67: 48mph in a 35mph zone & following too closely - ticket ($183)

[ME +1] West Haven Police in West Haven on may xx 2002 @ x:xxxm on 1st ave: running a stop sign and following too closely - verbal warning (knew the cop) i was following a girl i knew

[ME +1] West Haven Police in West Haven on april 01 2002 @ x:xxxm on Rte. 1: running a stop light - verbal warning (cop had someplace to be) i was with my g/f at the time and she told the cop he had "nice eyes" he said "thanks but your b/f already got out of the ticket. nice try though" he wasn't a giant asshole about it

[ME +1] West Haven Police in West Haven on march xx 2002 @ x:xxxm on Rte. 1: 60mph in a 40mph and not signalling with a cop tailing me and i didn't know - verbal warning (knew the cop)

It's funny, I've been driving for 2 years and the only problem I've ever had with the cops is one parking ticket... How do you have so much trouble with them? You need to learn to drive. Following to close is to close, it doesn't matter if you know them or not. Being rear ended sucks, I had my rear bumper/trunk totaled on my old car cause some idiot was tailing me...

no man... i know how to drive. i actually consider myself fairly good. i realy wasn't following too close. i always keep at least 2 seconds away from the car ahead of me. i'm in so much trouble with them because i drive a flashy car. not to mention 2am is when most bars close so they figure i'm drunk. at 2 am the roads are empty so yea i'm gonna go a little faster. i live 20 miles away from the chill spots and i wanna get home.

you say you hate cops but you seem kinda lucky by getting out of 3 tickets because you "knew the cop" ...oh well i guess they can get annoying at times
