Hayabusa derived V8

I've been away for a while, so if it's already been posted-sorry.

This company that builds clubman cars has developed this V8 based on the 1300 Suzuki Hayabusa plant. It is 2.6 litre, weighs 210 pounds as pictured, and produces 375+ hp with a 10,700 redline.

With Totalchaos Performance squeezing 335+ hp outta the stock 'Busa with their bolt-on stage III turbo setup, can you imagine the possibilities if they got one of these to play with? In the neighborhood of 700 hp outta 2.6 liters?

Gives me wood.

that is a crazy motor, is it still being tested or are they available to purchase? and do you know how much tourque it produces.

They are in production, I've seen a couple of examples of them being used in specialty vehicles...I don't know what one would cost, but I'm sure it's outta my range

Here is one of the dyno runs from when it was still in prototype testing, fuel map and intake/exhaust combos were still being tinkered with. Numbers are slightly better now, depending on the configuration used. They plan to offer it in three displacements, 2.2, 2.6 , and 3.0, I believe it is.

They were shocked how broad and flat the torque curve is, nobody expected it to be so broad and flat. As you can see, power is very useable across a wide range, not peaky like you'd expect from a high revver.

wow, its almost producing 200ft pounds naturally asp. that motor has huge potential, i probably couldnt afford one either. it could replace a couple of 4 and 6cyl motors. for those who have the cash.

i dunno. if you were to use that motor it would have to be in a super light, super hi performance car. Maybe ina tubbed out miata or TVR or something. On a bike, that thing would just be insane. Too insane for me, for sure.
