pricing estimate!! help plz!!!

i'm looking for a set of 4 16-17" rims. which would be a better way to go, buy the rims and tires seperate or buy them as a package?

my next question is, im looking to spend maybe $500 for rims at most. so anyways, i have found a couple differnt wheels that i really like a lot that are under $500. supposing i buy the 4 rims, i would still need to get tires, have them balanced and mounted. the tires i would need would be maybe something like all season preformance? so given that i would have already spent 4-500 on rims alone, how much more could i expect to pay for the tires, them to be mounted and balanced, etc.? please help me out and let me know, thanks!

Good find. The wheels I want will cost me about $1,000 alone. But for tires it really depends on what size wheels you want. The bigger the wheel you get the smaller profile the tire. This maintains the OE overall size. Low profile tires can get expensive. As far as buying wheels and tires in a package, I've never heard of it. Try http://www.tirerack.com for prices and such. Just talk to some people, and shop around. Good luck.

expect to spend at the very least
300$ on four tires with balancing with average tires. In the 16-17" range.
