that u-bend delete
i finally pulled off the u-bend delete after about 2 yrs. of owning this beast, and damn it definetely gives it a tad bit more grunt and feels better through the higher rpm's. i waited way too long. it took only an hour or so and cost $7.34 for a peice of exhaust and a nut, and some easy fabrication with a hammer, sawz-all, and a welder. you cant go wrong for the price! best bang for the buck yet.

Re: that u-bend delete
$75 for a piece of pipe?? Jeez, go down to Autozone and pick up a piece of exhaust pipe for like $8 and cut it to the right length...

Re: that u-bend delete
Sh#T thats the Ubend? I always thought it was the cross over pipe you guys were allways talking about. Now I understand I could never figure out how the crossover pipe got re-routed. DUH!!

lol. No Troy we still complain about the crossover pipe too. It holds true when you install headers. Getting the crossover lined up and mounted on a header install is a PITA in addition to having to tilt the engine forward and back. I still get bad dreams about it when I installed my SLP headers last summer.
