Re: In need of horsepower

There are tons, you need to narrow your question a little bit. What are you looking to do with the car? Race it, keep it street legal? Daily driver with balls? How much do you want to spend on it to get it there? First thing I would look into if I were you is an Intake and an exhaust system.

Hey CamarosRsweet.....Intake and exhaust are definate requirements, but I was looking for more, maybe complete kits, which might include upgrades to heads, or repalcment heads, cams, fuel pressure, ect.

How about a supercharger,That would give you a good boost of power.

Re: In need of horsepower

Check out summit.com; jegs.com; do a google search for it and do some reading on it. Check out http://mods.firebirdv6.com/ that has some good elementary reading on what can be done to cars, granted it's geared more towards V6's but the basic concepts are the same. This will at least give you a starting point to decide what you may want done. If you are going to be doing this a little at a time try to plan it out so you only have to replace/upgrade parts once. I wish you well...

Do you have an extra $4000 sitting around to put in one part for your car? Not to mention the massive amount of work it would take to mod the engine and everything else involved to support having a supercharger, at least one that is worth having anyways... Go watch The Fast and the Furious again...

Hey dude!! You have to pay to play with the big boys .When you grow up you may understand this. I just put one on 93 mustang . No one stated that cheap horspower is what they are after. Another thing I have no idea what the car is worth to this person, it could have endless value to them thats sure not for you to decide. For your advice well just keep it and for the record , I have never seen fast and the Furious

When I grow up? You need to grow up still and you're 32. Good for you and your 93 Rustang, and I am sure you did just that put it on and that's all. Yeehaw, you put on a supercharger, prolly hardley even running any decent boost otherwise you would have had to do tons of work to the engine. What the hell does the value of the car have to do with you giving extrordinarily shitty, repetitive and most important stupid advice? Go drive the supercharged Rustang
