2005 Malibu Lx dashboard noises

I think I have electrical problems. There was a constant crackling noise emanating from the dashboard on my way to work this morning. The other day I noticed my right blinker seems to be malfunctioning intermittantly.

I know I'll need to take it to the dealer but does anyone here have an idea if I'm right or if its something else?.

The car drove fine, it was just this noise which would maybe stop for a couple of seconds but would start right up again.
