Spare Tire...

Okay, I never thought i was an idiot until now...

I've been trying to figure out how to lower the spare tire, but for the life of me, I haven't been able to figure it out.

Owner's manual has been useless as well.

Anyone know an easy way to do it?

Thanks,

Dave

There is a bar underneath the car[pet in the back in a styrofoam holder u need that and the lug wremch. Get u a flash light and look down the hole by the lisense plate and u will see a circle looking think with 2 notches in it. Take the crank bar and put in that notch and turn. Its hard to see it with out a flash light. Hope this helps.

Send a message via AIM to OffroadX
It's described in the "In case of emergency" section of the owner's manual.

Thumbs up

A shot of WD-40 on the chain/hoist mechanism if it looks crusty is advised too!
