Brake Light Circut
Have a "95" that keeps blowing the brake light fuse. Have replaced the multifunction switch. Position 1 on the fuse block tests at 14 V. but shows 44.7 amps when brake pedal is pushed in. Need to where to go from here? Thanks

Re: Brake Light Circut
Do you have a trailer plug on your "95"? If so check for a short there.

Re: Brake Light Circut
No trailer connection. Flashers work, turn signals work, tail lights work. As soon as one steps on the brake , the fuse blows.

Re: Brake Light Circut
I believe that the group of 4 wires(brake, running, left&right turn signals) run down the frame on the drivers side, these wires get worn and touch the frame, usually near the hold down clamps. Follow these wires from the firewall back to the bulbs and you should find you problem. Seems more common on trucks that spent time in hot southern climates
