Trans problems???
I have a 98 and 99 GTP, and it seems in both of the cars that the trans pause while it is shifting in normal driving conditions. I mean if i mash it that doesn't happen but when just driving through town it sucks really bad the pause seems as if it is getting longer with time. I have changed the trans fluid and filter but that didn't seem to help any. Does anyone know what could be causeing this?? Thanks

Re: Trans problems???
This sounds like you are having problems with the pressure control solenoid. Take the cars to a shop with a trans capable scanner and get them scanned. This will give you an idea of what is going on inside. It could be something simpler and less expensive to replace but only the scan can determine exactly what is going on. Good Luck!!

Re: Trans problems???
Ok, Thanks
I was starting to think that it might be that after looking through some of the other threads. |

Re: Trans problems???
Try some Seafoam or Lubegard tranny additive in the interim. Won't hurt at this point.
