car wont start. please help becaue i need to fix it fast
i have a 95 civic dx, and it wont start. right now its over in the parking lot at work and i want to figure out whats wrong with it before i get it towed anywhere. its always started fine, but now all of a sudden when i try to start the car it wont start and just makes this clicking noise. i think its the started but im not sure. also, how do you replace the starter? right now i am really short on cash and if its not too hard im going to try to remove it myself. do you just unbolt it form under the car or do you also have to remove the transmission?

Quote:
no but on the real Answer 1.Remove the negative cable from the battery. Working from underneath the car: 2. Label & disconnect the wires from the starter solenoid. 3.Remove the mounting bolts. You're done. Just install in reverse order. Working space is a little tight and installation seems to go a lot faster than removal. |
