Speedometer / Wiring Troubles

I'm having problems with the speedometer (among other things) with my 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. One day while driving, it just went dead and then I heard a "clicking" sound coming from the glove box. The clicking sound turned out to be a breaker? (it's not a fuse - it apears to be a breaker or relay - same shape as a fuse) in the fuse block. Apperantly there is a short somewhere causing this breaker to click on and off. It's still happening. It is breaker # 10 labeled INDIC and it controls these items: (Rear Defogger Timer Relay; Instrument Cluster; Chime Module; Cruise Control; DRL Module (Canada); Lamp Driver Module; ABS Lamp Driver)

I have also noticed that the following items quit working: (The "autolock" when you place the car in gear; The fog light indicator (the fog lights work, just the indicator light); and Cruise control) The strange thing is that the rest of the insturment cluster works!

I have traced wires for 2 days and unplugged anything that I can think of to see if the breaker will quit "clicking." No luck.

Anyone have any ideas?

The unit with the breakers and chime is called the convenience center, you chuold be able to replace the breaker. no offense to this site, but w-body.com/forum could give you more answers
