removal of side torque (motor)mount

Trying to remove to replace.
Ive got it unbolted and thru bolt out, motor supported but it wont come out.
FSM is quite involved in this, saying to remove PS pump, front motor mount,
side mount plate,belt tensioner etc.
Cant understand why all this has to come out.
Is there an easier way?

Re: removal of side torque (motor)mount

I got it out without removal of PS pump or the idler pulley.
Its not pretty but will work out fine.
I normally dont get frustrated and sawzall happy but this thing got the best of me.
So this is how I did it.
I sawed the spacer in half(actually 3/4-1/4) close to the motor plate, thats
under the PS pump.
This allows the plate to pivot up and around the PS pump pulley.
Cut 1/4 inch off the stud that idler pulley is on(no harm done as theres plenty of stud left).
Plate can then be removed allowing enough room for motor mount to slide out.
