02 Neon SE keyless entry

Has anyone else had trouble with keyless entry not working? Mine just quit all of sudden. Checked fuse replace battery in remote. Could it be the keyless entry control module and where is it?

Re: 02 Neon SE keyless entry

You have to resynchronize the remote after you change the battery. Hold LOCK and UNLOCK on the remote for 7 seconds near the vehicle and if there isn't a problem with the remote, this will get the system back to working order.

It quit working before I replaced the battery in it. Do you have any other ideas? I suppose the battery could have been dead and that is why it was not working, I'll try your idea
