Question Stupid Transfer Case question......

Alright, this might seem to be a really gay question but I got all confused by a past post about what model Transfer Cases have what features.

NP231 = 2WD, 4WD Part time, Neutral, 4WD Lo

NP242 = 2WD, 4WD Full time, 4WD Part time, Neutral, 4WD Lo

Is that right? I thought it was the other way around? Did Jeep ever make a Cherokee with Full Time 4WD and no 2WD like a friends 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee I know. Hes just got 4WD Full Time, Neutral, 4WD Lo......

The modes for the 231 and 242 are correct.
Cherokees have always had a 2WD option.
