93 lumina driver door

handle has gone and tried to open it manualy after taking of panels and such but still cant figre it out. does anyone have a diagram i can use?

Handle gone inside and out? Or one broke and the other doesn't work?

If you still have one, but it doesn't work, you'll have to look for a rod type linkage inside the door that has stretched or popped off the handle mechanism.

If you have to, take the other door apart and see what's different inside them. I tried to find a diagram, but had no luck.

thanks for the reply. the door wont open from inside nor outside. took all the paneling off but cause of all the metal inide the door its almost impossible to get my hand in there to do anything at all.

i had that exact problem when i bought my 93 lumina ... inside the door is a rod ... and all it is was the rod was slightly bent ... i bent it back and works like a charm now ...

The rod from the outside door handle goes into the top of the latch and pushes down as you lift the handle to release. If the handle broke, the rod may have fallen out as there is no retainer clip at the latch, just at the handle.
