1999 Silhouette rear deck lid Wiring.

I recently got into an accident in my parents silhouette, and have all the parts necessary to rebuild it. I have the decklid already repainted and ready to go. But when I removed the deck lid panel, i realized that the electrical lines made one continuous loop.

Does anyone know where the wiring ends, or will I have to cut the wires, and sauter them back together? I've taken a picture and attached it below. So it makes more sense.

Thanks,
Lee.

Note how the wire travels continously around the entire decklid.

Note the "in one side, out the other":

And last but not least, all if it taken off, creating the one continuous loop:

Any help will be deeply appreciated. Thank you in advance for all your help.

Re: 1999 Silhouette rear deck lid Wiring.

Do you see the rubber corrugated connectors at the top of the decklid where the hinges are? The wires go through there, and I'd suspect there is a connector just inside the van above the headliner at the back......I'll see if I can find more details. Also, perhaps GregA has a schematic.....Good luck, Glen

According to my manual, there are connectors BELOW the bottom of the "boots" as shown below.

Lee - I will send you a PM with some help.

Take Care,
