Screwed up window clear parts

OK, I am so 'lucky' today as I screwed my Skyline GTS 25t Tamiya window clear parts !! It was unfixable even i try to sand it and polish with Autosol. So i decided to spray the window after primering it. What are you guys opinion. Will the model look wierd with black windows but with full interior details? Or i should use transparents papers and build them from scratch or build a racing car without windows?

Order a new one from Tamiya, it would be a waste to build a windowless car. What exactly went wrong?

EDIT: A new tree of clear pieces, that is!

Re: Screwed up window clear parts

thanks very much klutz......
i can use to tutorial to help me......

KTem,
ok, i screwed the window clear parts
1) i masked it and i didn't really mask properly i think so it bleed a lil and some parts are not aligned
2) i dipped to brake oil to remove but there are stains
3) next i try use autosol to polish ...still can't remove
4) then i sand a lil to remove the black stains and use autosol again
5) crack a lil !!! ah.....so fill a lil putty , sand it flat....primered it and paint it gloosy black

i may scratch build one

Re: Screwed up window clear parts

Klutz: the tutorial looks excellent!

Cham: You can try scratchbuilding a clear piece, but it's easier to just order a new one from Tamiya (provided that there is such a service in Malaysia, I don't know).

You can try to use am alcohol based permanent marker to paint the black edges on the inside of the windows. If you use a marker with a flat tip, you should be fine. I think it's much easier than masking and painting! I got that tip from ZoomZoomMX5, it works great.
