Front bumper for 1997 Talon?
Hey all, I just finished searching through every single post in this forum and was not able to find an answer to my question.
I've got a 1997 Talon ESI and have torn up the front bumper and simply want to replace it. Problem is, I can't find anywhere that actually has the OEM Talon bumper. So, I'll just replace it w/ a aftermarket front bumper, but can't find any made for the Talon. All the aftermarkets I find are for the Eclipse. What year of the Eclipse models would be compatable w/ a 97 Talon? What changes would be necessary to any bumpers I buy that are made for an Eclipse but want to put on my Talon, or would it simply be bolt-on? Thanks. I've been trying to find the ansewr to this question for two weeks now surfing the web in my spare time.

 ITS THE SAME CAR, a 97-99 eclipse bumper would bolt right up and is sexy as hell

You havent been searching this forum to much because half of the shit on here ATLEAST half of it it was eclipse/talon conversions. its very simple it all just bolts up

yup. searched through all the discussions in this forum and couldn't find any info. regarding this. thanks, though. for some odd reason i thought there was some certain year of Ecplipse that the front bumper was only compatible w/ the 1997 Talon. one guy in a body shop told me they only worked w/ 95 and 96 Eclipses, another one told me only 97 and 98 Eclipse front bumpers would bolt onto a '97 Talon.
why do so many websites that sell body kits say the bumper has to be modded to fit on a Talon? for example, the following site says "NOTE: Made for the Eclipse. Talon and Laser Models will require modifications to fit properly" http://www.sportcompactonly.com/prod...00553&l=2&c=96 what's the deal w/ this? Thanks
