most likely a silencer....
becasue that is really the only thing people ever stick in their mufflers

yeah its removable. should be a small bolt that connects it to the outer lip of the muffler.

you dont need a cat back your gonna lose alota Low end doing that. and if you want to go that route anway buy a mufler and do custom pipe its a little cheeper. (by about 50/70$)
