torque damper?
What is this and how does it work?

If we are referring to the same torque damper, it is a shock looking device with threads that you turn like ground control. basically it pre-loads the engine so that torque cannot move it. The damper mounts on the cam gear side of the engine on a honda from the block to right below where the strut tower is.
