Center High Mount Stop Light

My center high mount stop lamp does not work. As the "lamp" is a strip of LEDs it is illogical that they would all fail at once. The "lamp" is the sole load on a fuse - the fuse is good. Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

have seen them fail this way, due to them filling with water.
