83 Tranny Problem

I have a 4cyl, 4spd that will not go into gear when the engine is running.

I had the same problem. The tranny is shot. Not too hard to put a used one in. There are quite a few places that have them. Just go to http://car-part.com/ and search for one.

before spending the money on a used tranny, how does the clutch feel, and have you checked it out to make sure it isn't worn?
