Unhappy 93 Brake Caliper Compression

09-93 Isuzu Amigo...rear disc brake...
cannot compress the piston in the caliper to make room for new brake pads...is there some kind of magic todo this...c clamp wont do it...thanks, Jeff

It sounds like your calipers are wasted. I had the same problem with my 91 amigo I end up getting new calipers . check your e brake cable to make sure it's not sticking ,which causes the brake to be on 24/7 . oops dead caliper!

Are you sure they aren't supposed to screw in? Some Isuzu caliper pistons need a special tool to compress them.

Really? I never knew that one . All the cars I've worked on and never seen that one ..
Another OOPPs ah well maybe those calipers weren't bad .. At least I'll know for the next time.
