Vapor Lock?

i have a carbd 1697 camaro and i think my car is not starting because of vapor lock. wat causes this and how do i fix it?

Cause? Heat.
Fix?
Very simple. Re route the fuel line to keep it away from heat, use a phenolic spacer under the carb and make sure there is good air flow into and out of the engine compartment.
