fuel type for sts
any body knows the right fuel octane for the 97 cady sts .
im using 94 but i realy dont like it . the cars not quick enough , maybe its too high for the car. is the 91 octane better . can anyone help me on that . thank you . |

this info is straight out of GM service info
Use regular unleaded gasoline with a posted octane of 87 or higher. However, for best performance and for trailer towing, you may wish to use [u]middle grade or premium unleaded gasoline. If the octane is less than 87, you may get a heavy knocking noise when you drive. If this occurs, use a gasoline rated at 87 octane or higher as soon as possible. Otherwise, you might damage your engine. |
