Modified M3 needs tires

My S/C'd 97 M3 (unverified 400+ HP) needs sticky tires. The car has been lowered about an inch with H&R street perf springs coupled with Koni adjustables so I don't think I can get bigger than 17s or wider than stock under the car. I'll use it for solo track days and daily driving so can't use full on comp tires like Hoosier (I'd love to have seperate track set but can't justify the cost). I'd like to add wheels too so I can use the stock for my winter Michelins. Currently running Yoko AVS sports.
Your valuable experience and suggestions appreciated!!

Re: Modified M3 needs tires

You can contact Bill Kim at SoulSpeed performance suspension & tire and he can give you some ideas. He has numerous trophies and wins in SCCA National Solo II competition in his former E36 M3.
